Located in a lower Queen street premise of Hotel Grand Windsor, Cooke’s restaurant takes its cue from an Auckland tradition of the British heritage. Circa 1928 Cooke’s restaurant was conceived specifically for guests to take out time for their afternoon tea experience.
Select from fifteen selections of loose leaf teas that is served in fine bone china of exclusive T2 Tealeidoscope signature range, continuing tradition of tea presentation that is a part of the boutique rooms in Grand Windsor. Add the deliciously decadent Mumm cordon bleu rouge Champagne or Huia blanc de blanc sparkling wine to add a bit of sparkle to the afternoon tea.
Cooke’s brings its classics back of buttermilk scones with strawberry & rose preserve, dainties such as elderflower profiterole, marzipan cupcake with citrus sour cream, sandwiches of chicken & walnut, ham & cheese, classic egg mayo.
High tea is available daily with 24 hours notice for bookings.
